少儿编程的好处实在是太多了，这里也就不一一赘述了编程英文，今天我们要谈的是对于英文学习的帮助。
由于编程过程中不可避免的要接触到英文，某种程度上来说，英文是编程的基础，在学习编程的过程中，孩子会遇到很多英文词汇编程英文，所以在这里，我们把常用的词汇来汇总一下，学习好这些英文词汇，不但对于编程有着显而易见的帮助，同时，孩子的英文词汇量水平也会提高哦。
我们就以少儿编程最常用的scratch这个编程软件举例来说，虽然界面早已得到汉化，但是在使用中还是经常会出现的很多英文词汇，比如说有：move left, move right, move up, move down, turn left, turn right, hop, go home,start on message, start on green flag, start on tap, send message, start on bump, pop, play recorded sound, say, grow, shrink, reset size, hide, show, wait, stop, set speed, repeat, repeat forever, go to page, end.
使用编程块的时候，我们可以用到一些合适的动词。
首先点击某个编程块或者按钮啥的我们可以用tap这个词，也可以用click on。比如，tap the Green Flag button。
这里编程块要到编程区域是需要拖动的，所以用drag这个词，比如Drag the Turn Right block from the blue blocks palette to the programming area.
当然，我们也可以笼统的用use,choose, select, need, add, delete, touch等词。
编程块也可以用一些别的词描述：
Hop可以用jump。
左右旋转那个可以添加顺时针逆时针的表述。Turn clockwise, turn counterclockwise.比如，You will learn how to use the Turn Right and Turn Left blocks to tilt your cat clockwise or counterclockwise. 旋转用rotate, go around 之类。
变大变小那个当然可以用big,small这样的词。How large can you make the cat? How small can you make it?
出现消失的那个可以用appear,disappear, reappear, visible, invisible之类。
重复几次可以用run times. You can use a Repeat block to make the first pattern run several times.
收到信息启动那个直接用receive message.

切换背景按钮：change background button
网格按钮：grid button
勾号：check mark
加号：plus sign
项目：project
把程序块拼在一起这个动作：snap,比如，snap them together.Snap it onto the front of your script.
按住滚动条这个动作：scroll,比如，If you scroll down the page, you’ll see the many characters you can choose from.
保存：To save your project and go back to the home screen, tap the Home button in the top-left corner.
